Abbey & Mike's wedding day was a perfect way to encapsulate all that is wonderful about winter. From fur shawls and carriage rides, to hot chocolate bars and delicious desserts! Cocoa & Fig provided a miniature dessert table and cake for the big day. The desserts tied in with the wintery theme with hints of silver and fruit tarlets topped with blackberries and blueberries. Other dessert offerings included French macarons, mini apple pies, tiramisu dessert shooters, dark chocolate dessert shooters, cake lollipops, and mini cupcakes. The wedding cake had a rustic, spackled buttercream exterior, garnished with fresh succulents and an adorable pair of Mr. and Mrs. lovebirds.

We were lucky enough to be invited to do a photoshoot at the incredible Ice Castle at the Mall of America. The gorgeous ice formations provided the perfect background for our wintery dessert table. The centerpiece of the dessert table was a beautiful white and silver fondant decorated cake, topped with a delicate gumpaste flower. The miniature dessert offerings included French macarons, heart-shaped raspberry handpies, Russian tea cakes, key lime dessert shooters, coconut mini cupcakes, and mini chocolate chunk cookies.
Thank you to all of the awesome vendors who participated! It was certainly a very fun and icy day!
As we brave the sub-zero temperatures that a Minnesota winter inevitably brings, we find ourselves dreaming of summer. One wedding that practically screams warmth and sunshine is Annie and Michael's. The couple held their ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Semple Mansion, Annie's mom is a floral designer, and provided all of the gorgeous flowers for the big day. Cocoa & Fig provided a delicious dessert table, which included French macarons, dessert shooters, mini cupcakes, peanut butter sandwich cookies, fresh fruit tartlets, and a centerpiece cake garnished with a fresh succulent.

November is upon us, and Cocoa & Fig has decided the best way to get into the Thanksgiving spirit is by making pies! We've been baking and taste-testing the last couple of weeks, and we've come up with the best-of-the-best pies to complete your Thanksgiving spread! We will be offering four delicious types of pies, all 9" in diameter. Think of your Thanksgiving pie favorites, but with a Cocoa & Fig twist, of course!
Apple Crumble Pie - Our signature flaky and buttery crust, filled to the brim with fresh sliced apples, sugar and spices, and topped with an abundance of delicious streusel.
Double Crust Apple Pie - Two layers of our amazing pie dough encase freshly sliced apples that have been mixed with our homemade caramel and spices. The two crusts are gently pressed together (so that delicious filling stays put) and then a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar is added to the top.
Bourbon Pecan Pie - You've never tasted a pecan pie as delicious as this one! Starting off with our homemade crust, our secret recipe includes a mixture of brown sugar, bourbon, and over half a pound of pecans!
Pumpkin Pie - Smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of pumpkin and spice flavor. This pie will help to round out any Thanksgiving meal - just make sure to save plenty of room because you'll probably want seconds.

Mindy and Thomas had a stunning wedding at Villa Bellezza in Pepin, WI which included an 8' Cocoa & Fig
miniature dessert table! The color palette of blush pinks, gold and
ivory worked perfectly with the venue and also their dessert choices.

of the dessert table was a 3-Tier Centerpiece Cake covered in a pale
pink fondant with gold accents. Mindy and Thomas chose different flavors of cake for each tier. The top tier was a rich chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, the second tier was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing, and the bottom tier was a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. For the mini desserts, the selection
included Mini Key Lime Pies, Butterscotch Budino Dessert Shooters,
Raspberry and Salted Caramel Macarons, Fresh Fruit Tartlets, Peanut
Butter Cake Lollipops, and Black Velvet Mini Cupcakes.
